Jon and I moved flat a month ago and we finally have the internet again. woop! I've been loaned Jon's old Canon SLR, so I've been having a play with that recently.

My aquarium work is going really well and I've been volunteering with the education department which is great. Hopefully it will lead to something paid in the future as the job situation isn't going so well at the moment.

The aquarium is also going to start running a course for its volunteers, focusing on zoo licencing, fisheries, husbandry and marine biology. I hope that I can undertake this as it would fill the gaps in my knowledge and give me more confidence when talking to the public about the animals we keep.

Pet update : Our Texan rat snake, Indra, is still missing. I'm going to try putting some food out again this week, I just hope he's still in the flat. We've also had some additions. 2 grey and 1 green tree frog (Fozzie, Frodo and Titch), 1 snow corn snake (Dashe) and an anerythristic corn snake (Thor). So thecollection is growing rapidly

I also got to hold a chilian rose tarantula yesterday which i am rather proud of. I've always been scared of spiders and it's something i'd really like to get over.
